Munster - On Saturday afternoon around 12:00 p.m., two girls aged 9 and 7 were feeding the ducks at the mill pond near the market square. From a group, 5 young men and 1 woman, they were pushed into the mill pond.

Luckily the pond wasn't deep at this point and the children were able to wade out of the water on their own.
On the bank, the clearly shocked and frightened children were first looked after by first aiders before they could be handed over to their mother. The group of perpetrators fled through the park towards Hindenburgallee. The young woman is said to have worn a striking red dress. Please contact the Munster police on 05192/9600 for information about the perpetrators or other witnesses.
