Halle/Gotha – On Wednesday, March 1st, 2017, federal police officers arrested a 9-year-old girl at around 4 p.m.

She traveled alone on a regional train from Gotha to Halle. The little girl remained silent about her motives. The federal police took them into their care and consulted with their colleagues from Gotha.

They learned that the girl had been missing there since 11 a.m. This meant the all-clear could be given and the child’s mother could be notified. She was relieved to inform her partner, who went and picked up the girl.

Until the handover, the federal police officers looked after the little one in their office at Halle main station.
