Nordhorn - Early on Sunday morning, at 3:50 a.m., there was an assault on Ochsenstrasse in Nordhorn under unusual circumstances: a 21-year-old man from Wilsum was talking to a paramedic who was on site with the ambulance.
As this conversation continued, a 29-year-old man approached who was loudly upset about the presence of an ambulance on Ochsenstrasse. In his anger, the man gave the 21-year-old man two punches in the face for no reason in the presence of the paramedic. The man from Wilsum was injured.
The accused was taken into custody by the police who were called and spent the rest of the night in a Nordhorn police custody cell.
