Neukölln – A man was injured in the early hours of the night on September 12, 2017 in Neukölln

According to investigations, at around 10 p.m. on September 12, 2017, a 23-year-old was nearby Neukölln S-Bahn and U-Bahn station on the road and made a phone call.
Suddenly two men approached him, asked him about the long chain with a cross that he wore around his neck and asked him why he had become a Christian.
One of them is said to have torn the chain from the person being spoken to and thrown it on the ground. He then punched the 23-year-old in the face several times.
The second man is said to have held the attacker while the first attacker inflicted two cuts on his upper body.

The attackers then fled, leaving the man injured.
The victim used his cell phone to inform acquaintances, who then alerted police and rescue workers to the corner of Karl-Marx-Straße and Herrnhuter Weg.
Paramedics took the 23-year-old to a clinic for outpatient treatment.

The State Police at the Berlin State Criminal Police Office is conducting the investigation.
