Reutlingen - Kirchheim/Teck: The background to an incident that occurred on Thursday morning, around eight o'clock, in the Mediusklinik on Eugenstrasse is still unclear.

According to current information, an unknown person approached a nurse in the basement of the building and asked for her key card, whereupon the 30-year-old ran away and the unknown person apparently also fled. Only later did the woman notice a bleeding cut on her upper arm, which required medical attention. There was never any danger to life.

After the police were alerted, they immediately surrounded and searched the entire building and the adjacent psychiatric clinic with numerous emergency services. The person we were looking for could not be found. The search measures carried out outside the clinic have also had negative results so far. The Esslingen Criminal Police Department is investigating the unknown man for dangerous bodily harm.

He was said to be around 35 years old, just over 170 cm tall and of normal build. He had very short, dark hair and a light complexion. He was wearing gray clothing, with the pants being lighter than the darker, zippered jacket, and sneakers.

Witnesses who can provide relevant information about the perpetrator are asked to contact the criminal police on 0711/39900.
