What does this change for you as a user of e-mail @t-online.de?
Nothing. The sale will not affect your use of the email service. Your email @t-online.de is still a product of Deutsche Telekom and will continue to be operated on Telekom servers in Germany.
Why doesn't anything change?
The email center of your email @t-online address has been technically managed separately from the news portal t-online.de for several years. The site t-online.de is a possible route that leads to your email address. In the future you will also be able to log into your personal email center via www.t-online.de. Alternatively, you can also do this via a Telekom website such as the email login page www.telekom.de/email. In addition, other Telekom services, such as the media center, will of course also remain accessible via your usual channels.
The important thing is: nothing changes for you. Your emails are just as secure as before.
