20-year-old Malina KLAAR has been missing since Sunday morning.

She was last at a party in the Galgenbergstrasse area until around 5 a.m. and from there made her way home on foot towards Unterer Wöhrd. Most recently she had tel. Contacted a roommate in her shared apartment shortly before 6 a.m., so she would be at the city park.

After she didn't come home until the afternoon, her parents filed the necessary missing person report.

Accordingly, Malina has only been studying in Regensburg for a few weeks and is therefore not yet very familiar with the area. Otherwise she is described as healthy and reliable.

Police: 1. Addendum

REGENSBURG. 20-year-old Malina Klaar is still missing. The Regensburg Criminal Police Inspectorate took over the investigation and coordination of the search measures in this case on Tuesday morning. The whereabouts of those wanted have been unknown since Sunday morning.

According to what we know so far, Malina Klaar was at a party in the Galgenbergstrasse area on Sunday morning, March 19, 2017, until around 5 a.m. before she headed towards her apartment on Unteren Wöhrd. However, she didn't get there and was reported missing by her parents on Sunday afternoon.

The Regensburg South police station initiated extensive search measures on Sunday evening and during the day on Monday, which also involved police search dogs and a police helicopter. In addition, all emergency services in the city area have been and are informed about the missing person case and are therefore particularly aware.

The criminal police taking over the processing of the case is a common procedure in missing person cases and is not unusual here either.
The Regensburg Criminal Police Inspectorate took over the further investigation on Tuesday morning and has been coordinating the search measures since then based on the findings so far. In addition to the office-based checks, further targeted search measures with support staff from the emergency platoon and the riot police are also planned.

Among other things, the path from Galgenbergstrasse towards the Danube is searched with a view to objects or traces that could come from Malina.

Police: 2nd addendum

In connection with the investigation into Malina Klaar, who had been missing since Sunday morning, the KPI Regensburg carried out searches in the Fürst Anselm Park with the support of the riot police. This search did not yield any relevant items that would help clarify the matter.

Malina Klaar has been missing since Sunday morning. After a party on Galgenbergstrasse, which she left at around 5 a.m., she did not come home to her apartment in the Untere Wöhrd area.

After evaluating the initial findings of the investigation, the KPI Regensburg carried out a search of the park along Fürst-Anselm-Allee in the afternoon hours today with the support of the Bavarian riot police. The search extended from the so-called Schwammerl in a westerly direction to Kumpfmühler Straße.

Police officers used their wands to search the leaves, bushes and bushes in the park for objects that could be linked to the missing person. However, the emergency services did not find any such items during this search.

At the same time, the KPI Regensburg continued its office-based investigations, evaluated the traces and information obtained so far and questioned witnesses.
