On Thursday, September 1st, a man from the city area discovered that several thousand euros had been unlawfully debited .

The gentleman quickly realized that he must have fallen for a phishing email. A few weeks ago he received an email that supposedly came from his bank. In the email he was asked to provide his bank details to check his details. The man complied with the request.
