Düsseldorf: This morning there was an attack on a 24-year-old woman who was seriously injured.
Fortunately, there is no longer any danger to life.
The specialists from Criminal Investigation Department 11 have started an investigation into an attempted homicide. The police are intensively searching for the fugitive perpetrator.
According to previous investigations by the Düsseldorf police, an attempted homicide occurred around 9:45 a.m. in the area of Benrath Castle Park to the detriment of a 24-year-old Düsseldorf woman.
A passer-by saw a man violently attacking the woman and rushed to her aid, whereupon the perpetrator let go of her and fled. The 24-year-old suffered significant injuries that put her life in danger for a short time. She is currently being treated as an inpatient in a clinic.
A murder commission “MK Benrath” was set up by the Düsseldorf police and the public prosecutor’s office. The investigation and search for the perpetrator are in full swing.
