Long before his death, which became known today, the former Soviet President and Mikhail Gorbachev arranged his funeral. The Nobel Peace Prize winner, who died at the age of 91, will be buried in Moscow's famous celebrity cemetery at the New Maiden Monastery. There he secured a grave next to his wife Raissa Gorbacheva, who died in Münster in 1999 after a serious illness.
