Oranienburg - A nine-year-old boy informed the police on Sunday around 1:15 p.m. via the emergency call that he and his three friends between the ages of nine and 13 had been beaten with an iron rod and had a glass bottle thrown at them by an unknown man. He is also said to have threatened and insulted the children.
On site, the children then admitted that they first wanted to take a newspaper away from the man. The angry man then threw a liquor bottle towards the children without hitting them. He is said to have made offensive statements. Two of the children then grabbed an iron rod one after the other and hit the man with it until he was able to snatch the rod from the children.
The man is said to have hit the nine-year-old with the iron bar. The boy suffered a hematoma. The officers were no longer able to locate the man. The children were handed over to their legal guardians; the nine-year-old wanted to seek medical treatment with his mother. The police are investigating dangerous bodily harm.
