Dortmund – Bochum – Two girls got into an argument on Monday evening (June 12th) in Dortmund main station. Three young people then hit a 16-year-old and kicked her in the head while she was lying on the ground.

At around 9:15 p.m., the 16-year-old from Dortmund got into an argument with a 15-year-old girl from Bochum. During the loud conversation, the woman from Bochum is said to have hit her opponent in the face, whereupon she fell to the ground.

While lying on the ground, the woman from Bochum and her two companions (15 from Bochum and 21 from Dortmund) kicked the 16-year-old in the body and head, according to witnesses.

Federal police met the three suspected girls on the forecourt and took them to the police station. Investigations there revealed that the 15-year-old from Bochum had been placed in custody. Because the mother couldn't pick up her daughter in Dortmund, she had to spend the night in a youth protection facility.

Criminal proceedings for grievous bodily harm were initiated against the three suspects. Further investigations must now reveal what exactly the dispute was about.
