According to the Federal Criminal Police Office, after restarting the operating system, a page with text opens. It alleges that the computer was involved in criminal acts.

The computer was therefore blocked. The computer user is asked to transfer money via uKash or Paysafe to unlock the blocked systems. Even if the system is unlocked again after payment, it can be blocked again at any time if the malware is not removed.

Current other variants of comparable malware claim that the system is infected with a virus and that functions such as Internet access and the current virus protection program have therefore been blocked for security reasons. Payment in the form of a credit card transfer is also required to activate the system's own virus protection software, clean the system and activate internet access using a twelve-digit code.

The police advise you not to transfer money under any circumstances, as neither the police, judiciary, finance nor reputable companies demand money in this way.

HOW DO I CORRECTLY REACT IF I BECAME A VICTIM OF THIS TROJAN?
