Bochum - First the wallet was gone, then suddenly there were cell phone contracts in the mailbox: a couple who have not yet been identified are suspected of being guilty of fraud.

With a court order, the police are now publishing a photo and asking:

Who knows these two people?

At the end of November 2016, the victim – a 25-year-old from Bochum – had his wallet stolen. In the following days, an unknown perpetrator used the stolen personal documents to conclude a total of three mobile phone contracts, each of which also included high-priced mobile phones. He was also caught driving while evading several times and each time he identified himself with the identity card of the injured party.

The surveillance camera of an electronics market on Kortumstrasse in Bochum filmed the suspect as he concluded the contracts. They were always accompanied by the same woman.

The Bochum Commissariat for Fraud Crimes (KK 15) is asking for information from witnesses by calling 0234 / 909 4150 (-4441 outside office hours).
