Burscheid – Things escalated at a private party in Heddinghofen at night. An uninvited guest threatened with a knife, damaged objects and injured the 16-year-old hostess with a headbutt.

Thick smoke greeted the police officers from the Burscheid station around 2:30 a.m. early Thursday morning (August 10th) when they entered the house.
An originally planned “girls’ evening” for the 16-year-old daughter got out of hand while her parents were away. More and more uninvited young people arrived at the celebration. A 22-year-old from Leverkusen insulted the hostess when she spoke to him and gave her a headbutt. He threw pebbles at guests and threatened a visitor with a knife before setting off a smoke bomb as he left. The patrol officers broke up the party. There were two slightly injured people, and a criminal complaint was filed for grievous bodily harm and damage to property.
