We reported on a similar case on June 20, 2018. These are fake debt collection letters!

The consumer is informed that a dunning procedure has been obtained and that a bailiff will visit the alleged debtors. This can only prevent a payment of money. Consumers can ignore the email and do not have to pay any money.

Consumers who have registered on dubious streaming platforms and have rightly not paid the provider's bill will receive letters from debt collection agencies after a while. For example, it says:

We have obtained an enforcement order against you from the responsible local court in a dunning procedure (according to Sections 688 ff. ZPO).
For this reason, the bailiff will visit you on June 28, 2018 to seize your valuables.

Should you pay the money?

No, you do not have to pay any money to the debt collection agencies because the letters are dubious. This is shown, among other things, by the fact that the claim itself is unfounded and you receive the supposed seizure date electronically and not by registered letter. However, you should inform the claimant in writing that the claim is unfounded so that, if the worst comes to the worst, they can later prove that they were not inactive.

Our cooperation partner Watchlist Internet recommends:

Move supposed debt collection letters that threaten you with a bailiff to your spam folder. This means that you will no longer receive similar messages in the future!
