Police are searching for an unknown man who is said to have sexually molested three children on Monday afternoon.
Kaiserslautern (ots) - The police are currently searching for an unknown man who is suspected of sexually molesting three children in the city area on Monday afternoon and is asking the public for support.
The man approached a girl in the Adolph-Kolping-Platz area around 3 p.m. At around 6 p.m. he appeared on Mainzer Straße and around 7 p.m. on Rauschenweg. The unknown person was approached by passers-by or witnesses and was fortunately prevented from carrying out the crime.

The man is described as follows:
- Around mid-20s,
- 1.75 to 1.80 meters tall,
- slim,
- short, black hair,
- probably southerners.
- He has a vertical scar on the right side of his face at nose level.
- The man was wearing black jeans,
- a black t-shirt,
- an extra long black vest,
- light blue Puma sneakers,
- white on the lacing,
- a black backpack with blue shoulder straps
- and a red baseball cap with “SK” written on it.
