Missing teenagers found
Trier / Klüsserath (ots) - The two 16 and 17 year old girls, for whom the police had publicly searched for missing persons, have been back since early Saturday morning, February 25th. The investigation into her temporary whereabouts is ongoing.
Their parents reported the girls missing to the police on Monday, February 20, after they failed to come home as usual. After initial police measures taken immediately did not lead to the young girls being found, the police have been publicly searching for them since Wednesday, February 22nd. After intensified police investigations, the police found the 16- and 17-year-olds in a neighboring federal state on the night of Saturday, February 25th. The two will now be returned to the care of their families.
