Pro Familia and “loving, cuddling, cuddling”: always a hot topic

But the topic of the book “loving, cuddling, cuddling” has not come up for the first time.

Not for the first time in criticism!

“Shame-violating educational materials from Pro Familia NRW” was the title of an article that was heavily discussed a year ago. Admittedly, a year ago the level of discussion was much more objective and therefore, when considering the Pro Familia article, we are referring to the accusation made at the time.

This was an article from the “Family Protection” initiative, in which a guide for sex education for children was denounced.

The guide actually existed and is part of the “Sexual Education Series” of the North Rhine-Westphalia pro familia association.

Now, however, you have to stop for a moment and look at the sources. First of all: The book “Love, Cuddling, Cuddling” dates from the early 90s , the last edition was published in 1996. That was over 20 years ago. The book caused a lot of attention and rejection at the time. At that time, Pro familia already had to expose itself to strong criticism and justify it:

However, it is questionable whether the book will actually be used in the way it is advertised. MZW could have looked here too before writing death demands. On the one hand, the last edition dates from 1996, which means it hasn't been printed since then. So you can assume that it is no longer available new in large quantities.
