New: profile transfer to Netflix!
Many users share an account with Netflix. By categorizing names, everyone can watch their series and films. Netflix has now activated a new function for these users. Profiles can now be transferred, with personalized recommendations, viewing history, saved list and games retained when users start their own membership. Netflix writes:
With profile transfer, the Netflix experience remains constant even in times of change
People move, families grow, relationships end. But despite these life changes, your Netflix experience should remain the same. To that end, today we're introducing Profile Transfer - a feature that allows people using your account to transfer a profile. Personalized recommendations, track history, My List, saved games and other settings are retained when a new membership is started.
This new and much-requested feature will be available to all members worldwide from October 18, 2022.
- You will be notified by email when profile transfer is available for your account.
- To transfer a profile, hover over your profile icon in the drop-down menu on the home page and select the “Perform Profile Transfer” option. Then simply follow the instructions shown.
- You can turn off profile transfers at any time via your account settings.
No matter what happens, your Netflix profile is a constant in a life full of changes. So you can sit back, relax and continue watching exactly where you left off.
