Mönchengladbach - On Tuesday, a 67-year-old cyclist was seriously injured at 1:00 p.m. after he fell on his bike over a stretched dog leash.
The Mönchengladbacher had driven quickly downhill at Lettow-Vorbeck-Straße through the Colorful Garden towards an underpass.
According to his statements, he had seen the walker there with a dog, but not the leash stretched between them. Despite warning calls, he hit the leash and fell forward off the bike.
After receiving first aid at the scene of the accident, he was admitted to hospital. The dog remained unharmed. Source: Mönchengladbach police
