On Sunday, a 56-year-old man in the Toitenwinkel district of Rostock observed two young perpetrators, looking for a fight, harassing and hitting other pedestrians on the street

The injured party warned passersby about the two thugs and informed the police emergency number shortly before 8 p.m.

While he was still talking to the police, a suspect attacked the injured man.

Apparently he wanted to prevent the police from being alerted. The suspected man kicked the victim several times and only let go of him when other witnesses approached.

The two perpetrators then fled in an unknown direction.

The police officers who were deployed immediately were able to locate the two fleeing perpetrators (26 and 28 years old) nearby and temporarily arrest them.

The Rostock criminal police immediately began investigating dangerous bodily harm.

One of the two suspects is already known to the police for similar crimes.
