Ferrero or Kinder is recalling Christmas items due to the lack of a warning for allergy sufferers on the outer packaging of the figures.
These Christmas products are not suitable for consumption by those with hazelnut allergies.
Ferrero informs that traces of hazelnuts are indicated on the direct outer packaging of each Kinder Joy, but this information is missing on the label of the figurative outer packaging.

Best before date: March 12, 2017 and May 3, 2017

Non-allergy sufferers can consume the product without any concerns.
The figures are no longer available to consumers in stores. Hazelnut allergy sufferers who still have a product at home can return it to Ferrero Consumer Service freight collect or for a refund of postage costs.
Returned goods will be refunded.
The Kinder Joy Easter goods (plush figures of gnomes and birds), which are being delivered to retailers these days, are not affected by this.
Due to a production change, the products contain no traces of hazelnuts.
These products can therefore also be consumed safely by people with hazelnut allergies.
