Kassel - Two previously unknown women spoke to a 72-year-old from Fuldatal in downtown Kassel in Russian and pretended to be “curse healers”.
They got the senior citizen to collect her savings from home so that the cash could be blessed and the family would be averted from illness. The two unknown women exchanged the cash with advertising brochures in the park at the Luther Church and thus deceived the senior citizen. They then ran away. The victim only noticed the theft in the evening. With the publication of the case, the Kassel police are looking for witnesses and at the same time, since such crimes become known from time to time, want to prevent future crimes through investigation.
The theft occurred on Saturday afternoon.
At around 2 p.m., the two previously unknown women spoke to the victim in the Stern area in downtown Kassel. They used clever language to convince them that they could avert illnesses from the family. They even persuaded the elderly woman to take her savings from her Fuldatal apartment to bless them. Then you have to sleep on the money to clean it and thus prevent health problems for you and your children.
That same afternoon they met in the area of the Luther Church. In the local green area, the two supposed miracle healers performed some distraction tricks with cloths. In the course of this, they took possession of the package containing the cash, exchanged it with advertising brochures and gave it back to the senior citizen. The two women said goodbye to the 72-year-old with the order to first sleep on the package for 40 days in order to finally clear the money. That evening, the senior citizen began to have doubts, which were confirmed when she subsequently checked the package.

While one of the perpetrators is around 50 years old, around 1.60 meters tall, has a normal build and chin-length, dyed blonde hair with gray roots, the second is around 65 years old old, approx. 1.65 meters tall, of thin stature and has dark blonde hair with gray roots.
The victim could only describe the jackets. The younger woman was wearing a green jacket, the older woman was wearing a light gray coat. Now the officers responsible for trick thefts from the Kassel Kripo's Commissariat 21/22 are hoping to get information from the public about witnesses.
