Freiburg – Two non-poisonous and harmless corn snakes were probably released in the forest above the Waidhof stud farm near Inzlingen during the first week of February.

These were discovered by a walker on Friday. One of the two animals was already dead, the woman took the other to a veterinarian, who was unable to save the snake and had to euthanize it. The cold weather may have been fatal to the animals. The Commercial and Environmental Department in Lörrach has taken over the further investigation.
