A school demands that parents take more responsibility!

At the moment we are constantly receiving inquiries about a post on Facebook. It says that a school in Portugal is asking parents to take on more responsibility.

The requests themselves are not about the content, the statement or the request itself, but rather about the PHOTO of the SCHOOL , which was supposedly taken PORTUGAL Furthermore, the content was reproduced in GERMAN

But first things first! First of all, the picture that it's about:

The origin of the picture is probably from the site “newsner”, which published this picture on its website here on January 21st, 2017!

In the article itself there is also a reference to a school in Portugal:

• We would like to remind you that magic words like hello, please, you're welcome, sorry and thank you are all learned at home first
• At home, children also learn how to be honest, punctual, hardworking, show compassion to friends, and respect for elders and teachers.

• At home, they learn how to be tidy, take good care of their belongings, and that it's not okay to touch others.

We would like to mention in advance that in this case it is not relevant for us where the information came from, because the content (regardless of who published and wrote it) meets with our full approval

Is the school pictured now in Portugal?

Regardless of the content, we discovered that the school in the photo is not in Portugal. The photo itself can also be found on Wikipedia and you can read there that it is a school in STOCKHOLM .

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden and if you take a closer look at the “NEWSNER” website, you can see that this website also comes from SWEDEN.

However, as visitors from German-speaking countries, we are automatically shown the website in GERMAN and here again only those reports that were also published in GERMAN.

The website publishes a large number of articles in different languages:

This means you can reach a very high number of users!

Comparable to “Fierce”

The website itself is comparable in German-speaking countries to sites like “Heigt” etc. Here, the user’s emotions are used and clickbaiting is sometimes carried out!

But at least she doesn't cause any harm in this sense with this article. Even if the school is in Stockholm - and not in Portugal, we completely agree with the content!

It is not possible to prove whether and which school published this text! We classify this case as one of the so-called urban legends.
