Bergkamen – sexual offense distribution of images on social networks
A few days ago we reported on the incident in Bergkamen , where a 15-year-old girl was sexually abused by a stranger!
Today (July 16, 2019), however, a picture of a man was published by unknown people on social networks, mainly on Facebook and in WhatsApp groups, with the addition that he was the suspect.
That's not the case, the police are not investigating this person.
This picture was not published by the Unna police or with their knowledge. By posting the photo, on the one hand, the person's personal rights are violated; on the other hand, criminal law standards could be met and an innocent person could be unfairly prosecuted.

Callers reported that the picture was displayed in kindergartens and forwarded to children's cell phones. Publishing the picture not only creates panic, but also makes the police investigation more difficult.
We therefore urge you once again to stop distributing the image and instead delete it from social networks.
