Lathen – On Friday night, a 15-year-old girl is said to have been sexually abused as part of the western festival “Junker Beel” taking place in Hilter.
The teenager told officers that she had made contact with a 24-year-old man at a party there.
He would then have led her out of the local “saloon” later. Sexual acts took place outside against her will. The Meppen police were able to quickly identify the 24-year-old suspect. He appeared at the office in Meppen on Monday and described a completely different version of the incident. The investigators are working hard to reconstruct the actual events of the night.
