Why would you steal an oversized stuffed Easter bunny? Do you give this to your child? Is a little child somewhere doing a huge dance of joy right now... or has a psychosis for life? We don't know, but we do know:
This is probably the craziest police report at Easter. They stole Hasi!
Göttingen (ots) – Göttingen, Weender Straße Friday, March 18, 2016, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m
GÖTTINGEN (jk) – Even his size and weight couldn't prevent it. Last Friday (March 18, 2016), unknown people stole an Easter bunny that was approximately two meters tall and weighed around 30 kilograms and was worth around 800 euros from the Easter market in downtown Göttingen. So “Big Bunny” probably won’t fit in a child’s bed.
The rabbit thieves were quite bold in their act. The kidnapping did not occur under cover of darkness, but in the afternoon between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., i.e. during general business operations.
The big brown stuffed bunny with the friendly face had his place in front of the entrance to the “H&M” clothing store on Weender Street. Here he should actually welcome visitors to the Easter market with a friendly smile and invite them to linger. But his carefree, open-minded nature was now apparently his downfall.
Incidentally, the police have no evidence that Master Lamp wanted to take a “time out” in the run-up to the stressful Easter days and left on his own.
The bunny owner assumes that at least two people were necessary to transport the giant fabric.
