Aachen – Brazen, brash the worst. Two young men begged in downtown Aachen and pretended to be deaf and dumb. They wrote pieces of paper asking visitors in French for money or a restaurant voucher. However, the dizziness was discovered. The 17 and 18 year old men from Duisburg were later arrested. You are known to the police.

A passer-by had observed the two of them approaching pedestrians and begging with their larger pieces of paper, gestures and noises. When they also stopped the passer-by, he became suspicious and suspected fraud, as he had recently seen the two of them talking animatedly without any apparent physical handicap.

So he asked the men what this was all about. From this moment on, the previously supposedly deaf and mute people began a spontaneous recovery that was second to none. In their best German, they insulted the passer-by, threatened to hit him and, using a veritable vocabulary of insults, asked him to go away.

The man also left but called the police. When those spontaneously healed saw this, they fled. But the police got there quickly and caught her.

However, officials recorded a medical relapse in both of them. Although the young gentlemen still had hearing and voice, the German language seemed to have been lost. In English they claimed to only speak French and Romanian.

In any case: the officers arrested the two. They found the begging letters and over 100 euros in cash. The money was seized. The fraud proceedings are ongoing.

From then on the young men were speechless again. Which obviously had no medical reasons.
