Bremen -Four mothers argued about a stroller space on a bus in Huchting on Saturday evening. The confrontation escalated and led to a large police operation.

The quartet of women, armed with four strollers, could not agree at the Roland Center stop about who gets which space on the bus. After physically harassing each other, one of those involved called her 27-year-old husband, who rushed to the scene with his 26-year-old brother.

The police were also notified and arrived at the bus at the same time. The emergency services prevented the brothers from attacking the opposing parties and tried to de-escalate. But the husband got out of control and attacked a police officer, while his brother punched a 28-year-old female police officer.

Both offered violent resistance and insulted the emergency services, with the word “you sons of bitches” still being one of the most harmless terms. In the meantime, a group of around 50 onlookers gathered at the scene. A large contingent of police issued evictions and prevented further clashes.

The result of the evening: two injured police officers and one injured police officer. The brothers were temporarily arrested. Investigations were initiated for bodily harm, resistance to law enforcement officers and insults.
