Dortmund – On Saturday evening (February 11th) stable owners caught an animal torturer in Dortmund-Kemminghausen.

Due to similar incidents in the past, the stable owners wisely installed video surveillance in their stable. At around 10:15 p.m. it was that time again (unfortunately). A person in charge observed a man on the site via live surveillance. He led a pony out of the stable and apparently wanted to harm the animal. The stable owner immediately alerted other owners and the police. The alleged animal abuser was found and held by the horse owners until the police arrived on site a short time later. It is not yet possible to say whether sexual acts took place.

The 66-year-old man from Dortmund was taken to the Eving station to verify his identity. He had to be released from there during the evening.

The investigation will focus on whether the 66-year-old is also responsible for the other crimes in October and December last year.
