SPONSORED AD

The officers who were deployed immediately took the animal to the nearby Niederelbe small animal practice in Steinkamp.

When the cat was examined there, it emerged that it had apparently previously received massive kicks or blows to the head and had also been tortured with a needle in its rear end and stomach.

It is not yet clear whether the seriously injured animal will survive the upcoming treatments and operations. The police have now filed a complaint for animal cruelty under the Animal Protection Act.

She is now looking for the perpetrator and witnesses who may recognize the animal in the picture or who can say something about the cat's origins or the owners. Please contact the Stade police station on 04141-102215 if you have any information.
