“Safety First” is TÜV SÜD’s new podcast on all topics related to cybersecurity, data protection and more.

In the podcast, presenter Jolyne Schürmann talks to her guests about what cybersecurity and data protection mean for the economy and society, but also for each individual. From October 1st, a new episode of “Safety First” will be released twice a month. The first episode is about artificial intelligence.

Digitalization: Yes, please! But what about data security and data protection? And what should you really know about cybersecurity? Whether as a private person, at work or as an independent entrepreneur: Anyone who wants to make the best possible use of the opportunities offered by digitalization should also know the risks and be able to deal with them. That’s exactly what TÜV SÜD’s new podcast “Safety First” is about.

For example, it is asked:

  • How does artificial intelligence help us when it comes to cybersecurity?
  • If autonomous vehicles continuously collect data – what does that mean for IT security and data protection?
  • How do you protect medical devices from hacker attacks?

These and much more are the topics at “Safety First”. The moderator and host is radio journalist Jolyne “Schlien” Schürmann, who moderates the programs Netzfilter and Netzmagazin at Bayerischer Rundfunk, among other things.
