Recklinghausen - A cleaning vehicle was traveling on Lange Strasse around 8 a.m. today when a liquid was poured from the window of a house onto the roof of the vehicle.
The driver, a 36-year-old from Castrop-Rauxel, jerked the steering wheel of the vehicle out of fright. There was no accident. When he went to see what liquid had been spilled on the vehicle, he had difficulty breathing.
The police are now investigating dangerous interference in road traffic and grievous bodily harm. The investigation into the culprit and the liquid is ongoing.
