Ukraine has offered soldiers from Russia immunity from prosecution and money if they surrender.
“Make your choice. Come out without weapons and with a white flag,” Defense Minister Olexiy Reznikov wrote on Twitter and Facebook on Tuesday night. Each soldier is offered the equivalent of more than 40,000 euros .

“Everyone who refuses to be an occupier brings peace closer. There will be no mercy for those who choose the path of the occupier!” Reznikov said.

He further wrote: “You have the chance to start a new life.

According to Ukrainian information, at least 200 Russian soldiers have been captured so far. Russia attacked the neighboring country last Thursday without declaring war. According to UN figures, over 400 civilians have already been killed.
