Men streamed rape live on Facebook
Sweden: On Sunday, three young men are said to have raped a 30-year-old woman in Uppsala in front of a camera and streamed the act on Facebook. The police intervened and arrested the men.
As the 'Spiegel' and the 'Kurier' reported, three men aged 18, 20 and 24 were arrested after they raped a seemingly distant woman live via camera in a closed Internet group with 60,000 users.
The abuse only stopped when the police arrived.
According to estimates, around 200 users actively followed the stream.
Some of them had alerted the police.
The Swedish newspapers 'Aftonbladet' and 'Expressen' reported witnesses who saw the woman's clothes being torn off and being threatened with a gun so that she would admit on camera that this had not been rape.
The police said they have received “some images” and “video recordings” of the undressing process and urge you not to distribute video material on social networks but to contact the police, as there are still no complete recordings of the alleged sexual crime .
Three men are facing prosecution for communal rape and violation of personal rights.
The woman was taken to a hospital.
