Heidelberg - Four young people aged 14 and 15 were admitted to a clinic on Wednesday afternoon after receiving emergency medical treatment.

A witness found the boys shortly after 2 p.m. in an underground car park entrance on Odenwaldstrasse in the Kirchheim district and called the rescue workers. While two of them were still responsive and said they had smoked a joint and then vomited several times, the other two no longer responded.

Four ambulances from the DRK and the Malteser emergency service, as well as two emergency doctors, were busy providing first aid. Odenwaldstrasse was cordoned off with three stripes. The young people have been receiving intensive medical care since Wednesday afternoon. Their lives were not in danger.

The remains of the joint were seized; It is intended to have it examined for its ingredients. The investigation, in particular where the young people got the joint or the drug, is ongoing.
