We receive user information that a “Stuttgart enforcement authority” is calling on 0711/2999060. With this call, a female computer voice answers and basically says that there is a seizure order against you. If you want to settle the whole thing out of court, you should press button 1. If you would like further information about this, you should press key 2.
This method is not new, we only have recent evidence of these calls. Danger! This is not a call from the Stuttgart enforcement authority but a trap. If you press button 1 or 2, you will be redirected to a paid waiting queue and you will fall into a cost trap!

Warning about scam calls
Since the beginning of the year, there has been an increasing number of callers all over Germany claiming to be employees of the Stuttgart District Court and demanding payment of money. A non-existent number or even a number for the Stuttgart District Court often appears on the telephone display of the person being called.
We have also become aware of cases in which a recorded message asked those called to press “1” or “2” on the keyboard if the request was accepted in order to receive further information.
This is intended to redirect the call to a chargeable queue.
We would like to point out that such calls are not made by employees of the Stuttgart District Court.
Payment requests are always sent in writing by post. We recommend filing a criminal complaint with the local police station.
