Attention: 36-year-old man pretended to be the director of a sports club! 36-year-old pedophile prevented from committing crime by criminal police - call for witnesses - warning notice
Yesterday, Wednesday evening, officers from the Villingen Criminal Investigation Department were able to intercept a pedophile, 36-year-old man, known to the police, in Bad Dürrheim who was about to drive to a family's home address to examine a ten-year-old.
The suspect had presented himself to the parents as the director of a sports club, which was also able to issue a sports certificate.
To do this, however, he has to examine the boy. The ten-year-old's parents became suspicious, but apparently accepted the 36-year-old's suggested appointment.
When he appeared at the home address at the agreed time, police officers were waiting for him.
Investigators found a stethoscope, blood pressure monitor, scales and other medical equipment in the man's vehicle.
The police are currently not aware of any completed crimes.
However, the man was most recently investigated for sexual abuse of children in 2015. The 36-year-old may have contacted other families with the same intention.
