You can earn a lot of money without any prior professional knowledge and with just a few hours of effort per month.

The activity is described somewhat imprecisely, but in any case it involves transferring funds. In fact, these job offers are probably an attempt to recruit so-called financial agents.

The job of a financial agent is to provide his or her own checking account for depositing funds from alleged customers.

The funds should then be withdrawn and sent on via an anonymous quick transfer. The financial agents are promised a commission for this.

The background to these transfers, however, is to first “park” incriminated money in the financial agent’s account in order to transfer it abroad from there.

The financial agent therefore runs the risk of becoming a “money launderer” and committing a criminal offense.

Currently, reports from affected citizens who have been recipients of these emails have increased. Since the beginning of 2016, around 40 people have reported such emails to the Freiburg police headquarters.
