The woman in the picture above is Sabrina Harman . The New Yorker website in March 2008 (warning: explicit content) as part of an investigative report by authors Philip Gourevitch and Errol Morris . Sabrina Harman was an employee at Abu Ghraib prison in 2003. She photographed and documented the conditions in the prison and became known in the wake of the 2003-2004 Abu Ghraib torture scandal and was imprisoned in California. [ 1 ]

Errol Morris produced the 2008 documentary Standard Operating Procedure , which is about solving the Abu Ghraib torture scandal. He interviewed former soldiers, including Sabrina Harman, who worked at the prison.

Gina Haspel was nominated by US President Donald Trump on March 13, 2018 as his successor to the position of director of the CIA. This statement is true. Senator Rand Paul spoke out against Haspel's nomination shortly afterwards. She ran the “ Black Site ” prison in Thailand in 2002 and is said to have used interrogation methods that were no longer permitted. [ 2 ][ 3 ]

This status post is incorrect. Only one of the two women shown is Gina Haspel. The other picture shows Sabrina Harman.
