Iserlohn – On Saturday afternoon, a 46-year-old woman from Iserlohn filed a criminal complaint at the police station.
She had missed her white Persian cat and had last seen it on Saturday at around 7:15 a.m. While looking for the animal, she found it dead in a trash can at the church on Hohler Weg at midday. There is said to have been poison bait next to the cat.
The police are now investigating a violation of the Animal Protection Act.
The Iserlohn police are accepting information about the incident on 02371/9199-0.
