Furthermore, you should confirm payment of the “home delivery costs” of 1.95 euros, for which you have to click on the “Send my package” button.

But be careful, this email does not come from FedEx!

Even if you aren't expecting a package, such an email can still cause uncertainty.
You are willing to click the button in order to possibly find out more. However, the fact that personal data such as your own email address appears in the greeting of the email should not give you a false sense of security.

Because this is an attempted fraud!

All the data you enter here ends up in the hands of the fraudsters who send those emails.

What should you do if an email like this ends up in your inbox?

  • Under no circumstances click on the link
  • Do not open any attachments that may be attached
  • Do not enter any data
  • Do not answer
  • Move email to spam folder
