Wanted Ukrainian boy found dead

Users on Facebook are often unsettled when private search messages appear in their timeline, which also contain repeated “Please share” and lots of red exclamation marks, and not without good reason, because very often these are the best signs of a fake.
But not in this case: the little boy is really missing, and his mother is spreading photos of him on Facebook.

Update April 6th

Unfortunately, now sad certainty: Little Alexander, called Sasha, is dead. The 4-year-old was found dead with a gunshot wound, the Ukrainian parliament said on Twitter.

The Facebook post

We received several inquiries about this Facebook post, which was shared widely:

“A family from Ukraine is searching for a missing boy. Alexander Zdanov. 4. years old. Abandoned with grandmother and after some time in the chaos of war, the woman was found dead and the child was missing. Parents are alive and asking for help.”

The post is introduced with several red exclamation marks and the words “SOS PLEASE SHARE AS OFTEN AS YOU POSSIBLE”, but understandably it is exactly such introductions that are counterproductive: they tend to make you suspicious as to whether the search message is real, since many users do not have any other ones Sources were found for you search message and a telephone number abroad is provided.

The search report is real, but the last name of the missing boy is wrong, and the mother's name is not Alena (this is the name of the second grandmother), but Anna.

In several posts on Facebook, the boy's mother, Anna Yakhno, shares photos and asks for help (see HERE ).

The missing boy's name is Alexander Zdanovich, Зданович Олександр, his mother also calls him Sasha and Sashenka. He is 4 years old, 1.10 meters tall, has blonde hair and brown eyes.

The boy has been missing since March 10 during the evacuation in Sukholuchchya on the Dnieper (near Tolokun, north of Kiev). This is an occupied territory. He lived there with his grandmother, who was found dead. It is possible that the child remained in the area or crossed the border with someone.
