Is Elon Musk going through with this now?

When it comes to Elon Musk, the general public has now become cautious about interpreting his statements. We will know tomorrow whether he means to say that we should get used to this sight and that the takeover of Twitter is now fixed. Because the deadline for taking over the platform ends on October 28th, 2022.

After it became known in April of this year that the tech billionaire intended to buy the short message service, Musk backed out a few weeks later. Accusations on his part that there were too many fake accounts resulted in a long back and forth.

If Musk takes over the short message service on October 28th. does not take place, this legal dispute will continue. The judge has already announced a hearing date in November.

Banks informed by Musk

As the Handelsblatt reports, the Tesla boss is said to have agreed in a video conference with his banks to complete the purchase by Friday. 44 billion dollars are expected to change hands for this purpose.

The takeover looks set to happen if Musk's tweet is anything to go by. Here he publishes screenshots of a letter addressed to “Dear Twitter Advertisers”. In the texts he explains his reasons for the purchase, including: “I bought Twitter because it is important for the future of civilization to have a common digital space where a wide range of beliefs can be shared in a healthy way can be discussed without resorting to violence.”
