Viele Menschen kennen die Warnung: Bitte keinen Kontakt mit Fabrizio Brambilla knüpfen. Er ist ein Hacker. Er verbindet das System mit dem Messenger (was auch immer das bedeuten soll). Sein Erkennungsmerkmal: Er hat ein Foto mit einem Hund. Diese Warnung wird häufig geteilt, doch sie ist nichts anderes als ein Kettenbrief.

Many people know the warning: Please do not make contact with Fabrizio Brambilla. He is a hacker. He connects the system to the Messenger (whatever that means). His distinguishing mark: He has a photo with a dog. This warning is often shared, but it is nothing more than a chain letter.

Dieser Kettenbrief existiert nicht nur auf Deutsch, sondern ist tatsächlich auf verschiedenen Sprachen auf Facebook zu finden. Der Inhalt ist auf allen Sprachen identisch, in manchen Postings sieht man sogar ein Bild eines Mannes mit einem Hund.

Es handelt sich hierbei um einen Kettenbrief, der seit Jahren schon auftaucht und in dem immer wieder verschiedene Namen stehen (beispielsweise  Christoph und Jessica Davies, Peter Enis, Marcel Hohmann, Ute Christoff oder Paolo Tizzanini). Das besondere an der Variante mit Fabrizio Brambilla ist das Foto, welches manchmal in diesem Umfang auftaucht. Dieses Foto zeigt wirklich eine Person, die Fabrizio Brambilla heißt. Doch dieser Mann ist weder ein Hacker, noch greift er irgendwen auf Facebook an.

Um es deutlich zu sagen: Man kann keinen Facebook-Account „hacken“, indem man eine Freundschaftsanfrage annimmt. Das ist technisch nicht möglich. Der Ursprung des Kettenbriefs muss in einer falsch verstandenen Beobachtung liegen. Vielleicht gab es einen Phishing-Versuch, bei dem dieser Name aufgetaucht ist. Das ist leider alles nicht mehr nachvollziehbar. Was man jedoch weiß: Der Kettenbrief mit der Warnung existiert auf vielen verschiedenen Sprachen. Es bringt jedoch nichts, den Kettenbrief weiter zu verbreiten.

To put it bluntly, you can’t „hack“ a Facebook account by accepting a friend request. This is technically not possible. The origin of the chain letter must lie in a misunderstood observation. Maybe there was a phishing attempt where this name appeared. Unfortunately, all this is no longer comprehensible. What we do know, however, is that the chain letter with the warning exists in many different languages. However, there is no point in spreading the chain letter further.
